Why thermocouples matter
Your secondary chamber is regulated at 850°C with a 2-second residence — and it's the thermocouple that proves it. A drifted sensor reads compliant when the chamber isn't, or trips a fault when the chamber is fine. Either way, you lose cycles. Annual replacement is the cheapest insurance there is.
