Only with a unit specifically DEFRA-approved for Cat 1. Most on-farm installations are approved for Cat 2 and 3 only.

Is hatchery waste Cat 2 or Cat 3?

Hatchery waste from healthy parent flocks is Category 3. Material from diseased flocks may be re-classified upward.
